Technical Building Services, Inc. was founded in May 1981 as an independent temperature control and mechanical maintenance service company. Throughout its history, TBS has built an extensive service base with professionalism and expertise in the heating, ventilating and air conditioning industry. We continue to offer support services and system installation on many manufacturers’ products with emergency service available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In January 2000, Technical Building Services, Inc. formed a second company, TBS Controls, LLC. This company was formed to further the technological capabilities of Technical Building Services, Inc., as well as expand into an extended geographical area. In order to service this extended area, TBS Controls, LLC opened a local office in Allendale, New Jersey. The company seeks opportunities to deliver solutions utilizing strategic efficiency measures. We work confidently to optimize utility consumption and maximize building comfort. Our motivation is to impact our customers and clients business.
In 2003, to enhance their offering, TBS purchased a local HVAC equipment supplier, Advanced Comfort Systems, Inc. (ACS). ACS specializes in providing energy efficient mechanical equipment serving the commercial and industrial HVAC, Building Automation and Energy Management markets in New York and Vermont. In addition to equipment efficiencies, ACS sells an array of replacement parts for most manufacturers’ HVAC equipment.
TBS & TBS Controls support the installation and service of many systems, including but not limited to, Energy Management, Building Automation, HVAC, Lighting, Asset Protection, Access Control and Digital Video recording systems. TBS offers engineering, materials, service and turnkey installation of control systems utilizing optimal product lines.
